STUTTGART, Germany — May 2026 — MB Medical Braider has concluded a successful exhibition at MedtecLive 2026, one of Europe’s leading trade shows for medical device design and manufacturing technology, held at Messe Stuttgart. Across three days of intensive technical engagement, our team presented the full MB Medical Braider product line to engineers, quality managers, and procurement specialists from across the European and global MedTech industry.

Precision Braiding Technology for European MedTech

Our exhibition at MedtecLive 2026 focused on two core areas where European medical device manufacturers face the greatest production challenges: wire braiding precision and real-time quality assurance.

The MB Medical Braider platform demonstrated consistent pitch-per-inch (PPI) control, stable RPM management, and ultra-fine wire compatibility — including Nitinol, stainless steel, and PTFE-coated wires — for applications in neurovascular stents, structural heart catheters, and minimally invasive surgical devices. Our oil-free, cleanroom-compatible architecture and documented CE compliance pathway attracted significant interest from European OEM engineers operating under EU MDR 2017/745.

Edge AI Visual Inspection: Braid Guard

A major focus of our MedtecLive booth was the live demonstration of Braid Guard — the real-time edge AI visual inspection system developed by our sister company Lynxi, integrated directly with MB Medical Braider machinery.

Braid Guard uses on-device machine vision algorithms to detect micro-level braiding defects — including wire crossings, missing carriers, pitch deviations, and surface anomalies — at full production speeds without requiring a connection to external servers. Every production run is automatically logged with a full traceability record, directly supporting the batch documentation requirements of regulated medical device manufacturing workflows.

European device manufacturers responded with particular interest to Braid Guard’s zero-defect validation alignment and its potential for reducing manual inspection overhead in high-volume catheter and stent production.

“MedtecLive gives us direct access to European device manufacturers operating under the world’s most demanding regulatory frameworks. The conversations we have in Stuttgart directly shape the next iteration of our braiding machines and AI inspection systems.”
